Grant Overview

The BIPOC Leadership Development Program is designed to create a comprehensive leadership training program specifically aimed at Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in urban areas. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to advancing BIPOC leadership and provide a clear plan for measuring outcomes. Required outcomes include increased participation of BIPOC individuals in civic roles and decision-making spaces, with benchmarks established for program completion rates and leadership placement. The program will track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of BIPOC leaders mentored, the percentage of participants holding civic roles post-program, and the number of policy changes influenced by program graduates. Evaluation and reporting requirements include quarterly progress reports and a final outcome assessment. Performance thresholds will be established to ensure that participating organizations meet minimum standards for program delivery and outcome achievement. To ensure successful implementation, grantees must adhere to established reporting requirements and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing evaluation and improvement. Unlike general leadership development programs, this funding specifically targets BIPOC individuals and requires a focus on measurable outcomes related to civic engagement and policy influence.

BIPOC Leadership Development Metrics

The program will prioritize metrics that capture the impact of leadership development on civic engagement and policy influence.

Partnership Requirements

Grantees will be required to partner with local organizations to provide mentorship and networking opportunities, promoting collaboration that drives systemic change.
